Hi all!

This is just a very quick email to say that I got to Genova safe and sound, if not exhausted and desperate for sleep. James has done a good job of forcing me awake for most of the day with bribes of gelati

I’ve had a quick walk around town today and all I can say is that it is stunning!!! There are all of these old buildings dotted throughout with amazing frescos painted on their facades. I was looking up at the buildings so much it was easy to get disorientated.

I also just wanted to say a huge thank-you to all that came to drinks on Saturday night. I had a fabulous time, even if I was a little sorry for myself on sunday morning Also thanks to all for the lovely send-off lunch and days following up to my departure, it was great!
