Some Observations
Some random observations that I thought I’d share:
- The popular Italian boys name Guido actually means “I drive” – there’s one for the rev-heads of Lygon Street!
- Move over Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson, you’ve got nothing on the Genovese! The Genovese are THE original dog lovers. Dogs are taken everywhere including department stores (all floors) and restaurants.
- The Italians actually have a single word to describe “sleezy old men who perv at/crack on to young (foreign) girls/women” it is “marpione”
- For a developed country they still have a disturbing number of public “squat toilets”
